Rain, wind, and tree failure

There are many conditions that can cause trees to fail including excessive runoff from heavy rains and flooding that reduces soil strength. This coupled with wind, increases the chances. Look for heaving or fractures in the soil in and around the root zone. If you have questions or concerns, call us and we can assess your risk (or for those out of Oregon, direct you to a Certified Arborist in your area.)
